One of the most successful moe anime TV series K-On! has been green lit for a second season but there’s still no dates for the release. K-On!’s official web site has the announcement too (http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/k-on/).

It’s great news, even though we have to wait for long yet. I’m still waiting for the second season of Strike Witches.

It was unavoidable that I posted some Aki Hoshino pictures sooner or later. She’s my favorite gravure Idol and after all these years she’s still the hottest Japanese girl I’ve ever seen.

Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t watched the last episode of Sora no Otoshimono and don’t want it spoiled for you, please stop reading or watching the screenshots because they are very revealing.

That day that I feared so much has come and Sora no Otoshimono has ended in it’s 13th episode. The whole reminded me of DearS and though I watched and liked DearS, the end was not what I expected at all. Sora no Otoshimono was not that bad but still left me with an empty feeling. Of course, the bad part of this kind of short anime that I like so much is that the end always (or almost always) look so forced, I mean, it’s like everything happens in the last moment just to end a series that has been running really slow for 12 episodes until now.

New characters (kind of, because they appear all the series but they had no name or relevance at all), new powers, and a final battle that don’t last long. The chapter would have been a regular Christmas special otherwise.

Anyway I really liked it and would like more of it.

Latest episode of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun) was a kind of bikini beach special named “Bikinis halve one’s attention between your upper and lower body but one-pieces accentuate the body outline so it is only suitable for slim people you know” (ビキニは目線が上下に分かれますけどワンピースは身体のラインが出ますから細い方しか似合わないですよ) with lots of nice fan service shots. The Japanese publisher Ichijinsha has announced on Tuesday that it is planning to launch a new magazine called WAaI! boys in skirts about “male maidens” this coming spring. According to the publisher’s website, the magazine’s “cuties can’t possibly be girls!”

It doesn’t surprise me about Japan, still I don’t think it’s going to be an adult magazine but even though this kind of magazines, about a so specific and alternative topic, going mainstream is something weird.

According to its official blog, the new magazine was announced at the first day of the Comic Market dōjinshi convention in Tokyo. Ichijinsha’s commercial booth at the convention is offering two telephone cards with images from the upcoming publication.

I think all this cross-dressing topic is becoming more and more popular in Japan recently. But with many recent “alternative” manga magazines failing in this market, we will still have to see how this new one does.

This is the K-On! doujinshi I promised yesterday, I couldn’t post it but here it is. I think it’s really good, even though it’s focused in the tsundere character of the series, this is one I like.

I started Zero no Tsukaima a while ago, but the story didn’t catch me at all, still I think this doujinshi is enjoyable.It’s full color and decent art.

Lol, there were flying pantsu in the realese of the first DVD of Sora no Otoshimono. Now I want some screenshots and of course, today if the first day of Comiket 77 so I want some Sora no Otoshimono doujinshi too.

A new anime episode has been announced for Zettai Karen Children anime series for OVA.

Zettai Karen Children is produced by SynergySP animation studios and the original TV series ran from April 6 2008 to April 14 2009. And this is the plot from wikipedia.

In the future, people with ESP are becoming more widespread and with it, the necessity of constructively utilizing their unique capabilities. Unfortunately, there are also espers that abuse their powers and wield them to destructive ends. The Japanese government’s solution of choice to both challenges is the establishment of the Base of Backing ESP Laboratory (B.A.B.E.L.) for the purpose of appraising, identifying, nurturing, and protecting espers (even if that means apprehending them as if they were criminals). Five decades later, B.A.B.E.L. locates a trio of natural Level 7 (the maximum esper potency designation) espers within Japan and assembles them into the special esper team known as “The Children” in spite of all three having developed questionable attitudes and affinities because of the persecution and ostricization caused by the ignorant fear of their powers. Still, the question during B.A.B.E.L.’s stewardship of the past five years now becomes whether Kaoru Akashi, Shiho Sannomiya, and Aoi Nogami can be refined into young ladies.

Again the work of some clever photoshop expert has made a great work bringing us this transparent cloths version of a calendar page featuring Sakura Card Captor’s yuri characters Sakura and Tomoyo.

Hentai anime series Queen’s Blade have had several good cosplayers but this is specially good in my opinion. I love how cute the panchira shots are and the moe faces she makes.

It was announced recently by the official website of television anime series 11eyes, that a special episode OVA will be released on June 25. The TV series ran since October 6 this year and have just recently ended on December 22.

Satsuki Kakeru lost his sister by suicide and has been living a dull life ever since then. One day, he is transported into a bizarre world “Red Night” along with his friend Minase Yuka. In order to survive and escape from Red Night, he fights against Dark Spirits (Ralva) and Black Nights.

But this is the second part, pretty much it’s more of the same, so it’s good too. Francesca Lucchini is one of my favorite shimapan loli characters.
